 las Tara is a
school of Irish
dance dedicated to to the presentation of traditional Irish dancing, music
and song. We currently have schools serving northeast Florida
and southeast Georgia.
"Glas Tara" is Gaelic for green tara.
Tara is a broach that is symbolic of Ireland. We think this is the
perfect name for a school that teaches and promotes Irish tradition. Our
students range in age from four to over seventy- five. The dancers
entertain locally and compete at feiseanna, where they always bring home medals.

Conway Barnard, TCRG is a certified Irish dance teacher. Certification is
granted after passing a lengthy and difficult exam. The certifying body is An Coimisiun in
Dublin.

dance is one of the oldest forms of dance still practiced today. Now
popular all over the world, Irish dancing is healthy fun. Exercise workouts
like "Jig Don't Jog" are now heard and done in many gyms.
